Cadavedo - Valdés (Asturias) is a pretty village on the coast, awarded the title of "Most Beautiful People of Asturias" in 1954. Today it is an ideal place for rural tourism, preserves all the beauty that nature gave. Our cottages, apartments and bungalows are perfectly integrated into it. This respect for the environment does not prevent Cadavedo- Valdés (Asturias) is comfortable with all amenities and close to many adventure activities and interesting excursions.
Ermita de La Regalina
In 1931, on the initiative of the local priest, Padre Galo, a shrine was erected in honor of the Virgin of Riégala, believing that the spectacular beauty of the surroundings would attract the devotees. It is without a doubt the most beautiful viewpoint of the Asturian West, with privileged views to the Protected Landscape of the Western Coast (and, within it, to La Ribeirona, the main beach in Cadavedo and its immediate surroundings). It is a must if you want to taste the essence of the Cantabrian Coast in all its fullness.

Apart from the clear rural essence of Cadavedo, one can also taste remnants of the emigrant past from part of its population. Magnificent examples of Indian architecture at the turn of the century in homes of locals who left for America to make their fortune and erected on their return.
On the way to Cudillero, in Oviñana we find another stunning place where the sea and the cliff are protagonists; It is highly recommended to visit it, as well as take a walk through the town.
A few kilometers far from Cadavedo, towards Cudillero, always along the old national road (which, incidentally, will provide us with a driving experience and scenic enjoyment that is worth to savor at least once), we will arrive at a town called Castañeras, where we can go down to the beach. It is of an absolutely spectacular beauty; a virgin, wild and somewhat hidden beach that makes it a jewel of our coast.
